VETERAN’S DAY AND FT. MYERS BOAT SHOW FISHING REPORT
It is my viewpoint that the flats fishing for other species will also be better this year than those of previous Novembers. Because FWC and the Feds have actually closed Red Grouper and Gags, I submit that those who want to take pleasure in overseas fishing in November and the ‘winter season’months can still do so in as little a seventy(90 )ft. of water, as it is this time of the year reef types will move to shallower depths. When fishing for the reef species, position a couple of baits and lines higher in the water column for an opportunity to catch them.
Radical hosted owners of Pathfinders and sponsored a fun filled fishing competition among families and good friends. Dolphin fishing was not too great and we were dissatisfied with the absence of harvest, due primarily to the time of year.
