It’s been a fun and eventful summer for 1st Mate Vicki and I workspace of the Florida Keys (‘KEYS’) when the winds permitted. A great deal of our fellow Marine Industries Association of Southwest Florida and Tampa Bay members likewise take opportunities to do the same. A current journey to Marathon produced a fair bit of Mahi-Mahi action for us, although it was exceptionally hot throughout the day. The 10-12 mile per hour easterly winds supplied just enough relief with less humidity to where we could delight in full days of trolling the waters. We have strategies to join the Maverick Boat Group together with members of the Florida Insider Fishing Report running on the Sun Channel, the last weekend of September at Hawk’s Cay for comradery with other Pathfinder owners to do some fishing and relaxing.
Back here in your home, it is time to return to work as the Redfish are here in good numbers. The weather and water temperature levels should start operating in our favor. High tide phases will be a possession for supplying simple access to remote areas for anglers wishing to capture them. My clients and I have had a fun time targeting these fish throughout the summertime. Pictured here is Marine Corps comrades (station at my ‘old’ base), Camp Pendleton, California; Major Jenna Montgomery and Captain Christian Cole. Jenna pilots ‘Ospreys’ and Christian is ‘Recon’! They are together holding one of 2 good Redfish captured on a hot summer season afternoon. Semper Fi my pals! Eagerly anticipating seeing both again. Stay safe.
Fishing has actually been good despite the fact that it has actually been hot. All types are on fire. Go out early and come in before the heat gets excruciating. The fish are biting!
